Does the resort provide WiFi or TV’s?

We have the Fiber Optic service for the fastest speeds! Yes, WiFi is free and available on our property to our guests and visitors.

Although there are no TV’s in the cabins, you can stream/download all of your media content needs.

Do you have wireless phone coverage?

Coverage depends on the carrier. Verizon has the best coverage, and AT&T and other wireless carriers get spotty service.

What is your cancellation policy?

While we will miss you, we know plans change. 

  • 45 days or greater a full refund of the deposit.

  • 1 month 75% of Deposit.

  • Notice of less than a month will lose full amount.

  • No refunds on multi-cabin rental.

  • No refunds for Holiday rentals.

Do you allow pets?

We do not allow pets. The only exception is for service animals, as defined by the American Disabilities Act (ADA). These animals must have an identifying harness/vest to identify their services, and valid documentation is required at the time of reservation.

Our resident pets’ Charlie and Norman may be wandering the property and inside some of the buildings.  Please drive very slow.

How do I rent a cabin?

Cabin Rentals are private rentals. You may contact us through our online contact form for more details. 

Do you have smoking rooms?

No, Potters Resort is a SMOKE FREE PROPERTY. Smoking, vaping, and illegal drugs are prohibited on the property and in any of the buildings. Violation of this policy will cause immediate termination of stay.

Do you have wheelchair accessibility?

Yes, handicap ramps are located at the main building and Strong Rope Taproom.  The cabins are not wheelchair accessible.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of parking along the front of the main building for the Tap Room/shopping and also to the right and left of the main building.

Cabin parking is reserved behind the cottages and main building. If you have a trailer, please let us know so we can accommodate you.  Please be careful as their are sections roped/fenced off to protect our septic systems. All guests with trailers must have approval at the time of reservation.

Do you have public restrooms?

Public restrooms are located at the main beach in Blue Mountain Lake across the street of the Blue Mountain Lake Fire Dept. Additional facilities can be found behind the Corner Store across the street.

What is the best way to reach you?

It is best to reach us via our book cabins/contact us page. You can also text us 518-954-5365 to come to the office. We wear many hats operating Potters Resort and we will get back to you as soon as possible.  

Is your beach open to the public?

No, it is for private use of registered Potters Resort cabin guests only and Strong Rope Taproom patrons who are picking up orders to go. There is a dock to accommodate boats and other crafts can pull their canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and boats on the beach. We are not responsible for any personal watercrafts.

Where can I purchase an item that I forgot?

While the Corner Store across the street carries many items, feel free to checkout Pine's Country Store, Stewarts, or One Stop Market in Indian Lake.

Are there any restaurants nearby?

Chef Darrell’s Mountain Diner, serving 3 meals daily and ice cream window, is within walking distance of Potters Resort.

In addition, Hemlock Hall and the Hedges has a full breakfast and dinner in their dining room, however a day reservation may be required.

ADX Museum Cafe is open for lunch. Blue Mountain Designs offering limited bake goods along with a hot cup of soup or chili. The Corner Store has a selection of pantry items as well as deli and other items.

Inlet and Long Lake have a few choices as well as Indian Lakes’ Mountain View Café, Indian Lake also has the Pig II Deli, Puterko's Pizza, One Stop Deli and the Indian Lake Restaurant. Indian Lake is approximately 11-12 miles and Inlet is 30 Minutes.
